Congratulations to the Envoy team at Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) – yesterday they surpassed an amazing 100 days without a single controllable cancellation at the hub! “Controllable” cancellations are those that are within the airline’s control – such as for a mechanical or crew issue. They exclude cancellations driven by weather or Air Traffic Control restrictions that we cannot control.

“It takes serious commitment and teamwork to operate a major operation like DFW with that kind of outstanding reliability,” said President and CEO Pedro Fábregas.

“I’d like to add my sincere thanks to the DFW Maintenance team for keeping our aircraft in top shape and working day and night to ensure we’re ready to fly the full schedule,” said Jay Murray, Vice President Maintenance. “Maintenance can be one of the biggest drivers of controllable cancellations, and the DFW team – with the support of Systems Operation Control and Technical Services – has done an outstanding job of delivering on behalf of our customers.”

December is shaping up to be Envoy’s best December on record system-wide, with on-time arrivals and departures a full 20 points ahead of last year! Keep up the great work!
