Jay Murray is accountable for all aspects of Envoy’s daily Maintenance operations, encompassing Maintenance Operations Control (MOC), maintenance planning, and line maintenance operations. With an extensive tenure of over three decades in the airline industry, Jay began his career at Business Express Airlines. There, he steadily advanced through various roles, commencing as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician and progressing to positions such as Crew Chief, Supervisor, and Base Manager.

Following the acquisition of Business Express by American Eagle in 2001, Murray continued his career trajectory, serving in roles such as Maintenance Manager in Bangor, Maine, Base Director of Envoy Air’s maintenance operation in Columbus, Ohio, and Manager Director of Northeast Region Maintenance.

In his capacity as Managing Director of Southern Region Maintenance, Jay supervised Envoy’s line maintenance bases at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and Miami International Airport (MIA).

Jay holds an Associate Degree in Technology from Hudson Valley College, along with an Aviation Maintenance diploma and A&P License from Riverside School of Aeronautics in Rome, New York.
