60 Second Interview: Ladisluz Lopez

Ladisluz is our Manager of Baggage Operations for our Miami (MIA) operation. Her team makes sure that no bag gets left behind at one of American’s most important hubs.

IMG_MIA_CS_Ladisluz_LopezWhat is the best advice you’ve received?

“Make sure that whatever you do in life, you do it right” – wise words from my parents, that I make sure to apply to every part of my life.

What do you enjoy about your current role?

Besides the interaction with my team, the satisfaction of pushing an aircraft with 100% of bags loaded and that everyone in my team works in sync to make that possible. Priceless!

What does diversity mean to you?

It means acceptance and respect of all people, cultures and lifestyles.

What might people not know about you?

People might not know that I was an attorney for over five years in my native country of the Dominican Republic. This was prior to me moving to the U.S. and starting a new career in customer service.
