Hats off to Miami’s Yesenia Alicea!

Yesenia Alicea

When a flight from West Palm Beach (PBI) to New York (LGA) was cancelled due to weather in the Northeast, a customer trying to get home was rebooked first out of Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and then opted to fly out of Miami (MIA). Despite multiple cancellations, he had nothing but praise for the MIA team who worked hard to make it happen.

“After being cancelled by weather, a long drive to MIA and being denied boarding due to a weight restriction, the real star of the show was Envoy Lead Passenger Service Agent Yesenia Alicea,” he wrote. “She was the most diligent and helpful airport agent we have ever encountered! She worked for about an hour, made several calls, and was able to book us nonstop MIA-LGA on the following morning. She even got us seat assignments and arranged for a hotel, ground transfers and meal vouchers. Yesenia is truly an asset!”
