With over three decades of aviation expertise, Captain Scott Trepinski, PhD is Envoy’s FAA-designated Director of Safety. In this capacity, he holds responsibility for the oversight and efficacy of various safety initiatives, including the airline’s Safety Management System (SMS), Aviation Safety Action Programs (ASAP), Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA), and Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS).

Scott embarked on his journey with Envoy as a line pilot and holds type ratings for three distinct commercial aircraft. He serves as an envoy for Envoy, sharing his fervor for aviation safety through presentations at numerous industry gatherings and as a graduate adjunct professor, instructing aviation safety at two universities.

Scott holds a PhD in Education from Liberty University, a master’s degree in Aviation Safety from the University of Central Missouri, and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from the University of Arizona.
