American Airlines Pilots Approve Contract

Today, American Airlines pilots approved a new five-year contract which provides immediate pay raises of 23 percent and subsequent annual raises of three per cent for the next five years.

This new contract has positive implications for Envoy pilots, as Envoy provides an unmatched flow-through opportunity to American – for all current pilots and new hires – without requiring an interview at AA. This agreement between American and its pilots means that Envoy pilots transitioning to the mainline will enjoy a much higher starting salary – roughly $75 per hour the first year, up from the previous $40 per hour starting pay. Second year pay increases again to $112 per hour.

Additionally, Envoy pilots who choose to flow through to the mainline will enjoy a competitive benefits package and company funding of 16% of pay into your 401(k) account. Read more.
