Some people just instinctively know how to help. When a customer’s father needed emergency heart surgery, he urgently needed to get to Albuquerque to be at his father’s side. Landing in Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) for his connection, the man was understandably exhausted, sick with worry and confused.

“I went up to the gate I thought my flight was leaving from and asked the gentleman if I was correct,” wrote the customer. “He didn’t have the information, but went with me to find a gate agent, and then walked with me to the tram. I could not thank him enough. His name was [Chicago-based Envoy Flight Attendant] Gary Czerew and he has exceptional people skills. He was my hero that day.”
