Girls Soar at C.R. Smith Museum, sponsored by Envoy

Promoting diversity and inclusion across Envoy is fundamental to our success. And one of the ways we’re making this possible is partnering with local and national groups to encourage a more diverse range of people to join the aviation industry.

On February 24, Envoy and American Airlines partnered with the C.R. Smith Museum to promote a Girls Soar event in Fort Worth, Texas. Young participants from Dallas and Tarrant County Girls Inc. organization and local Girl Scout chapters attended the event.

The day’s activities included a museum tour and talks from a wide range of speakers, including Envoy’s own First Officer Arianna Campo. In addition to meeting with aviation professionals, the girls also learned the basics of flight by participating in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) challenges and flight simulations.
