Last week, DFW Maintenance Manager on Duty Nathan Hewitt was named to the Aviation Pro “2022 AMT 40 under 40”, which recognizes “the best, brightest and hardest working young people of the industry,” according to their website.

“I would say, the most rewarding aspect of my position and what I’ve accomplished so far is the autonomy in my current position to make impactful decisions and positively influence the technicians all while communicating with various departments to create an environment for a successful operation,” Nathan told Aviation Pros.

In April, we featured Nathan in our Taking Off video series where he talked about what prompted him to change his major to Aviation Science, pursue his Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license and continue his career at Envoy. In case you missed it, you can view Nathan’s Taking Off video below.
