On Thursday, April 13, members of the Envoy Air Operations Recruitment team visited Cadet Program partner school Thrust Flight, to participate in a Zero Time to Airline (ZTA) Pilot Pinning Ceremony.

Thrust Flight’s new Zero Time to Airline Program is designed to help students, as well as those looking to make a career change, with accelerated flight training. From start to finish, the program can be completed in about two years.

Envoy Vice President, Flight Operations, Capt. Ric Wilson did the honors of pinning 15 Thrust Flight Pilots who recently passed an FAA check ride to receive their Private, Instrument, and CFI ratings. He then spoke to students to share words of advice and encouragement.

“Envoy is the largest regional carrier for American Airlines, and we continue to grow our fleet and operations,” said Captain Ric Wilson, “As a result, there has never been a more lucrative time to be an airline pilot and partner schools such as Thrust Flight play a huge part in our success. Combined with outstanding benefits, state-of-the art training facilities, and career advancement opportunities, there is no better place to be a regional pilot than at Envoy.”

Students also heard from Envoy Pilot Recruitment Outreach Manager First Officer Austin Decker, who shared more information about the Envoy Cadet Program and opportunities that await at Envoy.

Thanks to Thrust Flight for being a valued Cadet Program partner!
