Kicking off the Summer in MIA

Posted

American and Envoy’s Miami hub is not just a vacation destination in itself, but a major gateway to our network of Caribbean stations and beyond. So when summertime comes, it’s no surprise that Miami sees an increased number of travelers through its operation. That means more flights, more customers and more things to do to ensure that everyone has a safe and positive travel experience.

To recognize the hardworking team who makes this success happen, the Envoy team in MIA recently hosted a summer kickoff party for all Envoy employees at the hub.

“With summer on its way, we want to ensure our employees feel celebrated and appreciated as they work hard as we enter this high-traffic and important season for Envoy and American,” said Envoy MIA Manager, Hub Administration Estibaliz Morante. “Putting this event together and seeing everyone have such a great time really made it feel like such a success.”

Just outside the administrative offices next to the ramp, employees from all work groups gathered to enjoy upbeat music, cheerful camaraderie and some delicious Cuban food. In between bites and chats, people took turns at a photo booth, set up with balloons and other decor that brought out the tropical vibes.

“I’m proud of what the team here at MIA accomplishes on a daily basis,” said Envoy MIA Hub Vice President Migdoel Rosa. “Envoy handles all regional departures at MIA, operates most of the regional flights and provides support services as well as much more – it’s great to be able to recognize our entire team with events like these.”

Here’s to a successful summer season, team MIA!
