Teeing off for Charity: 2025 Envoy Golf Tournament

On May 15, Employees from across the operation came together with over 111 partner vendors in the aviation industry to take part in the annual Charity Golf Fundraiser benefitting Coats 4 Kids Ride.

Now in its 18th year, the Envoy Charity Golf Tournament has raised funds for a range of local and national charities. In 2020, the organizing team’s focus  shifted to a local charity whose mission is to provide brand new jackets to children who would otherwise go without one during the colder seasons, Coats 4 Kids Ride.

“This is always such a unique and important event because it gives us the opportunity to come together with our industry peers and many of our partners to raise funds for a very worthy cause,” said Envoy Vice President of Technical Services Curtis Coble. “Coats 4 Kids Ride is a wonderful organization so it’s always exciting to see how many people show up to support them.”

This year’s charity event saw close to 600 golfers teeing off from sunrise to sunset, raising funds for Coats 4 Kids Ride through their registration alone, as well as through raffle tickets that attendees could purchase onsite for a chance to win prizes at the end of the day.

“This event grows bigger every year, with more and more people showing up to participate in the tournament and volunteer across every area of the course,” said Envoy Support Desk Analyst and 2024 President’s Award winner, JoAnn Tovar. “On top of all the participants who helped raise a majority of the funds that we were then able to donate to Coats 4 Kids Ride, we had over 75 volunteers show up all throughout the day to support the entire event.”

Last year’s charity golf event* raised enough funds to provide children in need with over 2,500 coats, and all signs point to a similar outcome for this year.

“On top of all the volunteers and golfers who came out to show their support, I want to thank my fellow planning committee members who helped make this event such a success,” said Envoy Director of Stores & IT Support Jack Badgero. “We couldn’t have asked for better weather, and we’re looking forward to hosting another successful event like this in May 2026.”

A special thank you and congratulations to Committee Members Rashid RahamanErik GillRick Montero-FloresDavid Delon, Curtis Coble, Jo Ann Tovar and Jack Badgero for organizing another amazing event!
