Inspiring Future Aviators, One Career Day at a Time

First Officer Fred Czerwonka recently returned to Fort Worth Christian School for its annual Career Day—an event he looks forward to each year. This time, he had the special honor of presenting to his grandson’s class, offering students a behind-the-scenes look at life as an Envoy pilot.

A former educator himself, Fred finds joy in connecting with students and sharing his passion for aviation. His background is as impressive as it is diverse. Prior to joining Envoy, Fred spent decades in education, serving as a high school teacher, principal, and Superintendent of Schools. He later transitioned into human resources, taking on the role of Vice President of HR for a large multi-state organization. There, he led initiatives in talent acquisition, employee engagement, benefits, and human resources operations across 950 locations and supported more than 4,000 employees.

Fred’s leadership and expertise also earned him a seat on the ADP Human Capital Management Leadership Council. He was a featured speaker at major industry events, including ADP’s national Meeting of the Minds in Atlanta and Business Analyst Days in New York City.

Now a dedicated pilot and passionate advocate for aviation, Fred continues to inspire the next generation—not only through school visits but also by volunteering at aviation events like OshKosh, where he has presented at the Avidyne Avionics booth. His commitment to both education and aviation makes him a standout role model for students dreaming of taking to the skies. ✈️
