Envoy Inspires Future Aviators at Girls in Aviation Day

Earlier this month, the Women in Aviation International North Texas Chapter (WAI-NTX) hosted its Annual Girls in Aviation Day at the Henry B. Tippie National Aviation Education Center in Dallas, Texas. Envoy was a proud Gold Sponsor of this inspiring event, supporting the next generation of aviators as they take their first steps toward the skies.

The event brought together girls of all ages to explore the world of aviation through interactive exhibits, hands-on activities, and career conversations. Attendees had the chance to meet women working across a wide range of aviation and aerospace fields — from pilots, mechanics and engineers to air traffic controllers, airport managers and aviation entrepreneurs.

Activities included flight simulators, helicopter-building projects, aviation phonetics games and a fun scavenger hunt. High school participants also enjoyed a special program with advanced workshops and career sessions designed to help them envision their future in aviation.

Envoy’s Air Operations Recruitment Team was on-site to connect with the bright, curious minds who are dreaming big and setting their sights on the sky. From sharing flight deck stories to exploring career paths in aviation, attendees spent the day sparking their imaginations and proving that the sky isn’t the limit — it’s just the beginning.

“Seeing their excitement reminded me of when I completed my first flight,” said Envoy First Officer Elizabeth Moorman. “This is where the next generation of aviators begins.”

Beyond the Dallas event, Envoy also proudly sponsored Girls in Aviation Day celebrations at Auburn University and Quad Cities International Airport (MLI), extending our commitment to empowering young women to reach for the skies.

Here’s to the future of aviation — and to all the girls ready to soar!
