If you’re looking to get your Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license and join the Envoy Aircraft Maintenance team, we’re making the process easier with a new list of preferred A&P partner schools.
All schools in this program have a proven track record of delivering high training standards, as well as a curriculum that aligns with Envoy’s operational needs. Students who graduate from these institutions are well positioned for an aircraft maintenance role at Envoy, where they can advance their careers to roles as Instructor, Inspector, Management and many other opportunities across Envoy.
This partnership also focuses Envoy’s Aircraft Maintenance recruitment efforts to these preferred schools and campuses, providing students with exclusive events, direct access to our recruiters and additional support throughout the hiring process.
“As Envoy’s fleet continues to grow, we’re excited to identify schools that consistently prepare strong candidates for the demands of aircraft maintenance,” said Air Operations Recruitment Manager, Steve Cates. “This helps students better understand what Envoy looks for and supports our continued goal of hiring skilled, safety-focused mechanics.”
Envoy is the largest regional carrier for American Airlines and currently operates a fleet of more than 170 Embraer E-Jet (E175/170) aircraft to more than 180 destinations across North America. The carrier is accepting new Embraer 175 deliveries through 2027 to grow its fleet to at least 214 aircraft.
