For the Envoy and American teams at Fort Myers, Florida (RSW), winning isn’t luck—it’s the result of teamwork, consistency and a shared commitment to excellence.
In the third quarter of 2025 (3Q25), the station earned its second consecutive Customer Cup, adding another trophy to an already impressive collection: six wins since 2016. The first came in 4Q16, followed by a remarkable run of three straight victories in 2023. Now, with back-to-back wins in 2025, RSW has proven that success can be sustained.
The Customer Cup is no easy prize. It recognizes stations that excel across many performance metrics—on-time departures, baggage handling, customer satisfaction, safety and more. There’s no room for error; every detail matters. The Envoy team below-the-wing and American team above-the-wing work together to achieve success.
Maria Mayoli, Envoy General Manager at Fort Myers, credits the team’s focus and unity. “We share the goals with the team for Customer Cup—what metrics they need to hit and what they need to do to make it happen,” Mayoli said. “Our team loves winning Cups, and they work together to accomplish the goal.”
That teamwork is reinforced by stability. Mayoli has led the station for four years, guiding the team through five of its six wins. The leadership group has remained intact during that time. “We’re very grateful that so many people want to be part of the Fort Myers team,” Mayoli said. “We have a team where everyone knows their role and performs. Our leaders believe in transparency and accountability.”
The team marked the occasion with a fun outing to a local bowling alley followed by a station celebration with visiting leaders from Envoy and American Airlines.
Six wins and counting—RSW shows what’s possible when a team works as one. Congratulations to Fort Myers for setting the bar high and keeping it there.
