Envoy Leaders Speak at the 21st Annual Benefits Forum

On December 17, 2025, the 21st Annual Benefits Forum took place at the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas, Texas. The event was co-hosted by the Texas Business Group on Health (TBGH) and the Dallas/Fort Worth Business Group on Health (DFWBGH), and included two guest speakers from Envoy – Vice President, Airport Services, Jude Mayeux and Benefits Specialist, Miranda Key. This year’s forum brought together employers, healthcare industry leaders, and professionals to discuss benefits, best practices, and healthcare management programs, with a very Wicked theme.

Following the Yellow Brick Road to Wicked Benefit Insights

The event featured an exhibitor’s expo with raffles, door prizes, and numerous sessions throughout the day focusing on the complexities and challenges of today’s benefits environment. Attendees also had the opportunity to network and connect with others, sharing insights with peers and experts in the field.

During the session titled “Defying Gravity: Promoting a Culture of Total Wellbeing,” Miranda and Jude took to the stage alongside Jane Riehl, Vice President of National Accounts at CuraLinc to discuss the Envoy Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

CuraLinc is Envoy’s EAP partner. The partnership has helped improve the way that Envoy provides support to our employees by delivering transformative mental healthcare fueled by connectivity, technology, and personalized programs that have a measurable impact on our employees’ health, well-being, and productivity. Uncovering the Magic in Employee Health

When COVID-19 hit in 2020, Jude reached out to the EAP and discovered a wealth of resources that were available. This sparked an idea for him to initiate conversations with each of his leaders at airport locations across the country.

“I had become worried about my managers, so I reached out to them and just asked how they were doing. I quickly realized that many of them were not doing so well, so we talked about the EAP,” said Jude. “Later, a lot of them let me know that our call changed their lives, and that was therapeutic for me. It shifted an aspect of my life where I just wanted to care more for others and make sure that they were okay, so I’ve made that my mission.”

The topic of mental health is not always an easy one, but as Miranda said during the event, “Our EAP has helped us, as a company, ask those important questions to our employees, like, ‘How are you doing emotionally? How are you doing mentally? If you need something, we are here for you.’ While our employees were skeptical at first, they now know the EAP will be there for them.”

The Wizardry of Workplace Wellness

Overall, the 21st Annual Benefits Forum served as a vital platform for fostering collaboration and innovation among stakeholders in the healthcare sector. Like the airline industry, the healthcare industry continues to evolve, and events like this play a crucial role in equipping organizations with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the complexities of employee health benefits effectively.
