Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary with a Special Livery

American Airlines isn’t the only one celebrating an important milestone in 2026. Last week, American shared the news that it’s partnering with America 250 (A250) to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, which separated the 13 founding colonies from Great Britain and marked the birth of the United States of America. Established by Congress in 2016, A250 is a national non-partisan organization tasked with celebrating America’s 250th anniversary on July 4, 2026 and honoring the contributions of all Americans in support of the United States.

As part of last week’s announcement, American shared that two aircraft across American Airlines Group (AAG) carriers will be decorated with special A250 liveries, including an American Airlines Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The second aircraft? We’re pleased to be the first to share that this will be an Envoy-operated Embraer 175, which will be decorated in the coming weeks.

Similar to our special livery in support of the Gary Sinise Foundation, this upcoming A250 livery demonstrates Envoy’s continued and sustained support of non-profit and charitable efforts across the United States. From American’s Centennial (100 year) to America’s Semiquincentennial (250 year) celebrations, we’re proud to play a role in this rich history and legacy and remain focused on all that comes next.

Look for our newest livery in the skies and more events from A250 in the coming months.
