Miami’s Commitment to Safety

Last week at Miami International Airport (MIA), the Envoy team hosted their annual Safety Fair, where employees came together to practice safety techniques, collect swag, and enjoy a free lunch.

Representatives from across the airport and the Envoy operation joined in the education and fun, including the Envoy Culture, Respect, and Engagement at Work (CREW) team, the American Airlines Credit Union (AACU), Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR), and the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Beagle Brigade. Vendors such as Grainger, along with local union representatives, also participated — highlighting that safety is truly a shared, team wide commitment.

“More than 3,000 Envoy employees support thousands of daily customers at MIA and keeping everyone safe is at the center of everything that we do,” said Envoy Vice President, MIA Hub, Migdoel Rosa. “This event recognizes the hard work that goes into running a safe operation, celebrates our employees and educates us all to continue to improve every day.”

Under the Florida sun, attendees enjoyed lunch, games, networking, giveaways and more throughout the day. ¡Bravo, MIA! We can’t wait for next year’s Safety Fair!
