This week, Captain David Tatum, American Airlines Director of Pilot Recruiting & Development, hosted a special luncheon to honor top-performing Cadet Pilots enrolled in an AAG Cadet Program.
Five Envoy Cadets were selected to be honored based on feedback from their peers, recruiters and partner schools, and each received a personalized trophy as a token of appreciation. In attendance at the award luncheon was Devon May, American’s Senior Vice President for American Eagle and Operations Planning, as well as Envoy’s Vice President of Flight Operations Captain Ric Wilson.
And the awards go to…
Kenny Zollars, Purdue University – Kenny is an Aviation Ambassador at Purdue University, as well as a member of the Purdue Fleet Transition Committee.
Zack Ebey, Southeastern Oklahoma State University – Zack chose Envoy because it’s always been a lifelong dream to work for American Airlines and Envoy provides a path to achieve that dream.
Nikki Gallagher, ATP Flight School Tampa – Nikki is an active member of Women in Aviation International. She chose Envoy because of the growth opportunities, equipment, and safety record.
John Bartolic, Western Michigan University – John helped start one of the first collegiate skydiving programs in the world known as the Skydive Broncos. He chose the Envoy Cadet program because of the welcoming atmosphere and the strong connection to American.
Luke Williamson, Southern Illinois University Carbondale – Luke is President of the Aviation Management Society at SIU and an Aviation Ambassador for the university.
Congrats to all of our Distinguished Cadets!
