The Envoy team at the Exuma International Airport (GGT) in the Bahamas is growing quite a collection of trophies with another one added to the mix. Recently, Team GGT celebrated their latest win of the American Airlines Customer Cup for the second quarter of 2024 (2Q24) – their second back-to-back Cup win and their fourth overall, previously taking home the award in 3Q22, 1Q23 and 1Q24.
“I am really proud of the team we have here in Great Exuma,” said Envoy GGT General Manager Monique Brown. “We challenge ourselves often to meet and exceed previous goals, and we seek ways to create team building events and exercises that foster great working relationships.”
To commemorate their win, the team catered lunch from a local restaurant so they could enjoy some favorite, traditional Bahamian cuisine in between turns at the airport. They also invited members of the GGT airport leadership team, American’s leadership team and the Royal Bahamas Police Force to join the festivities.
“It’s always a wonderful time getting to celebrate a win with this team,” said Envoy Vice President of International Operations Jorge Ramírez. “You can tell the instant you get around them that they truly are a collaborative and encouraging group of people who are very deserving of this hard-earned award.”
