Luis Carlos G. was once a voice actor, a teacher, a grocery store director, and the general manager of a gym before becoming an Envoy flight attendant. Helping others has always been at the core of what he loves to do. “After learning that many others had left their previous careers to seek opportunities within the aviation industry, it sparked an interest in me. After doing some research, I knew right away that this is where I belong,” said Luis.

Well, he was right. His hard work and dedication earned him the 2024 Outstanding Flight Attendant Award, a ride on the dedicated aircraft for the Gary Sinise Foundation, and now the 2025 President’s Award, which is the highest honor at Envoy, celebrating employees who consistently excel in their service to customers and coworkers. We recently spoke with Luis to gain more insight into his career journey here at the Company.
