Envoy helped tee up a great cause on Friday, October 2, serving as the Title Sponsor for the Friends of Francesca Golf Tournament at Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club in Keller, Texas. The event brought together 68 golfers for an afternoon of golf, fellowship and fundraising to support scholarships for aspiring pilots.

The tournament marked a new chapter for the scholarship program, which previously operated under the International Society of Women Airline Pilots. After four years of growth and fundraising beyond expectations, organizers established Friends of Francesca, a new nonprofit created to honor Francesca’s memory and expand scholarship opportunities to both men and women pursuing flight training.

Golfers had plenty of opportunities to put their skills—and generosity—to work, with contests and donation opportunities including longest drive, closest to the pin, challenging the shop pro and even launching a golf ball from an air compressor. The day wrapped up with a 19th Hole dinner and an opportunity to celebrate the tournament’s success.

As the highest-level sponsor, Envoy was proud to support an organization investing in the next generation of aviators and helping aspiring pilots take their first steps toward a career in aviation. Funds raised from the tournament will support the Friends of Francesca Scholarship Fund.
