Last month, the Envoy team at Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM) celebrated their recent win of the American Airlines Customer Cup for the third quarter of 2023 by doing something a little different.
For this celebration, they took the party off airport grounds to a local food-truck spot where they enjoyed with an interesting combination of pizza, wings and sushi, and chatted with members of Envoy’s executive leadership team about the win. To make it even more interesting, the team practiced axe throwing.
“I wanted to do something different and fun as a way to thank the team for all of their hard work this last quarter,” said Envoy RDM General Manager Corie Ochs. “We’ve done a lot of different team bonding things in the past, but never axe throwing. I figured this was a creative way to get the team together to celebrate this exciting accomplishment.”
If the RDM team celebrating a cup win sounds familiar, it’s because this win is not their first. In fact, it’s not even their first of the year! Back in June the team got together at a local bowling spot to celebrate winning the cup in the first quarter of 2023.
“I am so proud of this team for taking home yet another Customer Cup,” said Envoy Vice President of LAX and West Region Deesha Desai. “The team at RDM has proven time and time again that they work incredibly well together when it comes to taking care of our customers and getting our flights out safely, so this award was well deserved.”
