We’re pleased to announce that Envoy will establish a Maintenance base at Huntsville International Airport (HSV) in Huntsville, Alabama. Building on the momentum of our upcoming Washington National Airport (DCA) Crewmember and Line Maintenance base, our maintenance base at HSV will support Envoy’s growing fleet of Embraer E-Jet aircraft in 2027 and beyond.
Including an on-site Inventory Control team, Envoy Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) will perform both line and overnight maintenance operations at HSV. The base is expected to open in the second quarter of 2027 (2Q27).
“We continue to invest in additional maintenance capacity to support our growing fleet of Embraer E-Jet aircraft, and pleased to add Huntsville, Alabama to our Aircraft Maintenance network” said Envoy Senior Vice President, Air Operations, Dee Temples. “Envoy AMTs are some of the best in the business and ensure that our fleet is safe and compliant for the customers we serve every day.”
Envoy operates more than 1,000 daily flights to more than 190 destinations across North America, Central America and the Caribbean. More than 1,500 AMTs, Inspector Mechanics, Management and other related team members directly support Envoy Maintenance and Technical Services operations. Envoy also partners with a range of contract vendors across the United States for additional Aircraft Maintenance and related services.
We’ll share additional updates as we continue to plan ahead of opening our HSV Maintenance base in 2027.
