Last month, Envoy’s Flight Service team rolled out the red carpet for a carefully selected group of Outstanding Flight Attendants (OFA) to honor them with a lunch and awards ceremony at the CR Smith Museum in Fort Worth, Texas.
Every quarter, Flight Attendants are nominated by their peers for the OFA award. The Flight Service management teams at each hub take all of those nominations and review a series of factors, like customer feedback, uniform appearance standards and attendance, to select one Envoy Flight Attendant to receive this award. At the end of the following year, those award recipients get to celebrate together at a party thrown just for them.
“This award is truly very unique and special for our flight attendants to receive because it lets them know that their hard work is seen by the customers they serve and the peers they work with on a daily basis,” said Envoy Vice President of Flight Service Linda Kunz. “It becomes even more special when we get to see all of them come together at this OFA event to share in the celebration.”
