Indy Takes a Victory Lap

Last month, the Envoy and American teams at Indianapolis International Airport (IND) came together at the airport mezzanine to celebrate their recent win of the American Airlines Customer Cup for the fourth quarter of 2024.

“Indianapolis is a gateway to nearly every single one of American’s major hubs across the United States,” said Envoy IND General Manager Kitch Hamilton. “We’re well-connected, and that brings a wide range of different customers. Winning this award is a great way to remind everyone here that their hard work and dedication is so greatly appreciated.”

Because IND is such a large operation, it takes the collaboration and efforts of both the Envoy team working below-the-wing and the American team working above it to run a smooth and successful operation for our customers.

“Not only is this a major testament to your ability to hit key performance metrics like on-time departures and overall customer satisfaction, but it also goes to show how well you all work with one another,” said Envoy Senior Vice President of Customer Services John Jaynes at the celebration. “When a customer arrives at the airport, they aren’t going straight to the plane and only interacting with their flight crew. From checking bags to getting through security to boarding, there are many elements that play into your potential to succeed, so this win speaks volumes of your ability to work well as a team.”
