Double Life: DFW Supervisor Finds Her Competitive Edge

By day, Jasmine Langdon keeps operations moving as a Ramp Supervisor at Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW). Over the past eight years at Envoy, Jasmine has built a reputation for reliability, leadership and a strong work ethic on one of our busiest ramps. By night and on weekends, she channels that same focus into a different kind of challenge: competitive fitness.

In her role at DFW, Jasmine oversees ramp operations, ensuring flights turn safely and efficiently while supporting and guiding employees on the ground. It is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, clear communication and the ability to perform under pressure. Those same qualities have carried over into her personal life, where discipline and consistency are just as important.

Staying active has always been part of Jasmine’s life. After spending 13 years traveling the world with her father in the military, she grew up playing soccer and softball, participating in dance and competing as a cheerleader. But after finishing school, those built-in opportunities for competition and structured fitness were harder to find.

Recently, Jasmine decided it was time to make a change.

She committed fully to a new goal, hiring both a coach and a nutritionist to prepare for her first fitness competition. With a structured plan in place, she got to work, balancing long days on the ramp with consistent workouts and strict nutrition goals. Her dedication even meant postponing a delicious birthday dinner to stay on track.

Through it all, Jasmine had a strong support system close to home. Her father, Richard Langdon, an Envoy Crew Pay Auditor, was there every step of the way, cheering her on and supporting her journey. When he arrived at her first competition, Jasmine met him in the hallway, and he was amazed by her transformation, almost not recognizing her.

“Her dedication to this company is nothing short of the dedication she poured into this life transformation,” Richard shared. “I am extremely proud of my daughter’s accomplishments, not just what I saw on that stage but in her life.”

He added a lighthearted note of encouragement, saying, “Keep up the tremendous work, and I am always here if you need anything. Unless it’s to lift something, I think you have that covered now.”

For Jasmine, the journey reflects the same commitment she brings to her role at Envoy every day. Whether leading teams on the ramp or preparing for the stage, she continues to set goals, put in the work and follow through.
