Team Albuquerque takes home another Cup

The Envoy and American teams at Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) had plenty to celebrate after earning an American Airlines Customer Cup win for the first quarter of 2025 (1Q25). The Customer Cup celebrates top performance across key operational and customer service metrics. Stations are grouped into categories based on size and operational likeness and ranked based on their operational performance and customer satisfaction. Team ABQ is no stranger to this victory – this marks the team’s fourth Cup win.

“Safety is our top priority, and we’re proud to see stations like ABQ leading by example, not only delivering an outstanding customer experience, but also going above and beyond with proactive measures to protect both customers and staff,” said Envoy Employee Health and Safety Program Manager, Lisa Cannon, who traveled to ABQ to celebrate with the team.

The day of the celebration involved weather-related irregular operations (IROPS) at DFW, with American and Envoy teams focusing on assisting our customers through the disruption.

Even though the celebration was short-lived, the team still took a moment to enjoy the victory.

“Everyone has a stake in the success of the team and none of this would be possible without everyone’s dedication and diligence, including everything you’re delivering to customers today,” said Envoy Vice President of Airport Services Planning, Kevin Ward to the team during the celebration event. “Team ABQ should be proud of this achievement and the reputation they’ve built.”
