From March 19–21, 2026, Grapevine, Texas welcomed more than 5,000 attendees from 28 countries, setting an attendance record, for the 2026 Women in Aviation International (WAI) Conference.
Envoy was proud to serve as a Presenting Gold Sponsor of the event and to sponsor the professional headshot booth, which was available to all attendees. Envoy also joined the American Airlines Group (AAG) exhibit space, connecting with attendees and recruiting top talent interested in aviation careers. Envoy recruiters met with hundreds of prospective pilots and other aviation professionals to discuss career opportunities at Envoy and review resumes.
This year’s conference also featured an Author Meet and Greet, highlighting recently published aviation-themed books. Among them was “Latinas in Aviation, Vol. V“, which includes two Envoy employees —Aixa Torres-Maysonet and Vanessa Jimenez, who attended the event to sign books alongside Capt. Patty Tomich.
On Friday afternoon, American Airlines awarded Conditional Job Offers (CJOs) in a memorable ceremony with American Airlines CEO, Robert Isom. One of the deserving recipients, Envoy pilot Capt. Brittney Gallarneau, received a Conditional Job Offer [CJO] and will soon join American, where she aims to fly alongside her father before his retirement later this year.
The conference concluded with one of its signature events, Girls in Aviation Day (GIAD), held Saturday, March 21. More than 200 girls, ages 8–18, along with their chaperones, were welcomed by over 100 WAI volunteers to explore future opportunities in aviation. The day included 30 activity stations, guest speakers representing a wide range of aviation careers, and opportunities to connect with women pilots and aviation professionals. Older participants also met with representatives from universities, flight schools and airline pathway programs. Each attendee received a GIAD activity kit, T-shirt and a WAI Aviation Fun Patch.
