The Women of Envoy (WE) professional networking and development team recently hosted a special event for its members. The event, titled Situational Insights, Making Better Choices at Work, was hosted by guest speaker Attorney Stephanie J. Quincy from the law firm Greenberg Traurig. During the event, Stephanie delivered a presentation titled “2026 Employment Law for Managers: What You Need to Know Now & Why”.
Attorney Quincy covered five essential topics for managers:

- Performance Management
- Manager Basics
- Leaves & Accommodations
The standout messages from Attorney Quincy emphasized the importance of leading by example. She stressed that documenting everything – the good as well as areas for improvement – is vital. In short, if managers or employees find themselves questioning whether to contact the Envoy Human Resources team, the answer is likely yes.
HR is an important part of any issue or concern and can ensure that all policies and corrective actions are applied consistently, fairly, and in accordance with laws, statutes and/or Collective Bargaining Agreement(s) (CBAs) across the whole Company.
