Envoy Supports WAI-NTX Girls in Aviation Day

Envoy Air was proud to support the Women in Aviation International – North Texas Chapter (WAI-NTX) as a Gold Sponsor for Girls in Aviation Day on October 3 at the Henry B. Tippie National Aviation Education Center at Dallas Executive Airport.

The annual event brings together girls and young aviation enthusiasts to explore the many career opportunities available across the aviation industry. Through hands-on activities, career education and conversations with aviation professionals, attendees had the opportunity to learn what it takes to build a career in an industry that connects people and communities around the world.

Representing Envoy at the event were First Officer Jennifer Carlson, First Officer Alyssa Eastin, and Recruiters Alyssa Romano and Clint Covarrubias. Jennifer and Alyssa shared their perspectives as professional pilots, giving attendees an opportunity to learn more about life in the flight deck and the journey toward becoming an airline pilot. Alyssa and Clint connected with aspiring aviation professionals and highlighted the wide range of career opportunities available at Envoy.

“Seeing their excitement reminded me of when I completed my first flight,” said First Officer Jennifer Carlson. “This is where the next generation of aviators begins.”

As a regional airline and proud partner of American Airlines, Envoy is committed to connecting communities and creating pathways for aspiring aviation professionals. Supporting organizations like WAI-NTX is an important part of that commitment, helping introduce the next generation to the people, careers and possibilities that make aviation such a rewarding industry.

Here’s to the future of aviation — and to all the girls ready to soar!
