Pedro Fábregas

President & CEO

As the President and CEO of Envoy Air, Pedro Fábregas oversees one of the world’s largest regional airlines. The company has over 19,600 employees and operates approximately 800 flights daily to 160 cities in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, and The Bahamas. Pedro began his career with American Airlines in 1983 and quickly climbed the ranks in Customer Service, Operations, and Finance. He eventually became the Vice President of Finance & Planning and later served as the President and CEO of Executive Airlines, a former subsidiary of AMR Corp.

Pedro earned a Bachelor’s degree in Administration and Finance from the University of the Sacred Heart in Puerto Rico, as well as a Master’s degree from the University of Miami’s School of Business Administration in Coral Gables, Florida.

In addition to his role as Senior Vice President at American Airlines, Pedro is also an officer at American Airlines Group, the parent company of American Airlines. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at American Airlines Federal Credit Union. For eight years, Pedro served on the Board of Overseers at the University of Miami’s School of Business.

In 2013, Hispanic Business Magazine recognized Pedro by including him on their “Corporate Elite” list, which highlights the 25 most influential, engaged, and dynamic Hispanic business leaders in America. He has been recognized for his leadership by D CEO magazine for nine consecutive years as one of the Dallas 500 most powerful business leaders in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The Dallas Business Journal also named Pedro as one of the Most Admired CEOs in North Texas and he received the Reader’s Choice Award.
