Fun, sun and safety in LAX

Posted

On Tuesday, Feb. 18, the Envoy Customer Services team in Los Angeles (LAX) hosted a safety-themed employee recognition event, complete with games, trivia, raffle prizes, a taco truck and, of course, California sunshine.

Managers and Lead Agents designed and selected each game with a specific goal in mind – to improve Elevate behaviors, test Safety and Eagle Ground Operations Manual (EGOM) knowledge, raise awareness of risks and security violations and more. Activities ranged from dunking balls and spinning prize wheels, to “security searches” in sand for toy contraband, building Lego airplanes, tug seatbelt safety, chutes and ladders and many other fun activities.

“The team really outdid themselves for this event; it was great to see everyone learning about safety and having fun,” said Envoy LAX Vice President, Deesha Desai. “When someone was struggling with the answer to a question, it was great to see the team helping each other out and sharing their knowledge. Safety is everyone’s responsibility and it shows here at LAX.”

Way to go team LAX!
