Women of Envoy (WE) started the year with an inspirational Galentine’s Day themed event designed to bring Envoy’s leaders together for connection, confidence‑building, networking, and meaningful leadership growth. For those who don’t know, Galentine’s Day is typically celebrated on February 13 and is a day to celebrate female friendship.

As an Employee Business Resource Group (EBRG) dedicated to supporting women leaders, the group continues to create spaces where women can learn from one another, strengthen their leadership presence and build community across the organization.
Leading with Love and Purpose
The Galentine’s Day event blended love in all aspects and professional development centered on self-love, work/life balance and creating an atmosphere that encouraged women to show up authentically.

Small‑group discussions invited participants to reflect on themselves, their confidence, personal leadership and the power of self‑belief. These conversations sparked honest dialogue about the challenges and triumphs women experience while leading in different areas of their lives —whether supporting loved ones, managing personal responsibilities, or guiding their teams. They also highlighted the importance of women empowering women in the workplace.
The event also included a “Power of Love” presentation that explored how personal well‑being drives performance and decision‑making. Speakers emphasized that leaders are most effective when they prioritize their own stability and confidence.
Dress for Success
A highlight of the event was the presence of two guest speakers from Dress for Success Dallas, their President, Dr. Christi Monk Andrews, and Personal Stylist and Color Specialist, Teresa Dillion.

Dress for Success is a non-profit organization that empowers women to achieve their economic mobility by providing support, donated professional workplace attire, and development tools for success. Their presentation offered insights into professional presence, confidence through personal style, setting professional boundaries, and the transformative impact of supporting women in career advancement. Their message aligned seamlessly with the mission of WE, reminding attendees of the broader message of women’s empowerment.

This event also marked an exciting milestone — the introduction of the newly structured WE Board of Directors:

- Sydney Peterson, Manager, Finance Technical Operations | Treasurer

Closing with Connection
The evening wrapped with a relaxed networking hour, giving attendees the chance to continue conversations, build new relationships, and celebrate the momentum created throughout the event. The energy in the room reflected a shared sense of purpose and excitement for what WE will carry out in 2026.
