Earlier this month, Envoy had the pleasure of hosting a group from Women with Wings International for a tour of our headquarters campus in Irving, Texas. As a growing nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting women in aviation through mentorship, networking, and career development, Women with Wings continues to create opportunities for aspiring aviation professionals across the industry.

During their visit, attendees received a behind-the-scenes look at  Envoy’s operation and explored the many career paths available throughout the aviation industry. The day featured presentations and discussions from several Envoy employees and leaders who shared their personal journeys, professional insights, and advice for those pursuing careers in aviation.

One of the highlights of the tour was a visit to the System Operations Center (SOC), where SOC Director Robert Nault provided insight into the coordination required between maintenance, dispatch, crew scheduling, and operational planning to keep more than 1,000 flights moving safely and efficiently each day.

The experience concluded with an interactive session with the Flight Training Department in Envoy’s Virtual Reality labs, where guests completed virtual aircraft walkarounds, and practiced procedures using Virtual Procedures Trainers.
