On June 3, the Culture, Respect and Engagement at Work (CREW) team at Envoy brought the fun to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), hosting Sounds of Unity. The event transformed the station into a vibrant celebration of culture, connection and community, with an afternoon filled with food and entertainment that brought employees together in a meaningful way.

More than just a celebration, Sounds of Unity highlighted what makes Envoy strong: the different voices, backgrounds and experiences employees bring to work every day. From hip-hop and folk dance performances to exhibits inspired by Samoan and Norwegian traditions, the event showcased the rich cultural mix at LAX and created a space where those perspectives could shine.

The celebration also gained recognition beyond the airport, earning the Community Leadership & Inclusion Award from the California Legislative Assembly for its commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace. The honor reflects the impact of CREW’s efforts, and the pride Envoy employees take in creating a welcoming environment for all.
