What inspired your aviation career and path to your current role?
My love for aviation started as a child. I remember going to the airport with my grandmother to drop off and pick up her father, who traveled often, especially during baseball season (he was a huge Yankees fan). Standing by the big windows watching planes come and go made me dream of working “inside the planes,” just so I could travel the world with him. Over time, that curiosity grew into a passion for connecting people, continuous learning and developing strong leadership skills, which ultimately led me to my current role at Envoy.
What sets your approach to work apart?
I believe what sets me apart is my genuine commitment to treating everyone equally and with respect. I lead with integrity and value teamwork, always focusing on finding solutions and supporting others while maintaining a positive attitude. I try to see the bigger picture, ensuring that my decisions not only meet immediate goals but also contribute to long-term success for both my team and the company.
Memorable career moments or milestones?
Receiving the President’s Award and celebrating 10 years with Envoy in 2026 are two of my proudest milestones. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of such a supportive company and team. The moments I value most are seeing the impact of teamwork, helping others grow and overcoming challenges together.
How do you stay motivated and maintain high standards?
I stay motivated by remembering the importance of the work we do and the people we serve. Every day in aviation brings something different and meeting new people and building connections keeps me inspired. I also challenge myself to keep learning, seek feedback and consistently look for ways to improve.
What do you enjoy most about working at Envoy?
The people. Envoy’s culture is built on teamwork, professionalism and growth. There’s a shared commitment to safety, operational excellence and customer service, which creates an environment where employees can truly make a meaningful impact.
A valuable lesson from your career?
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is that success is built on trust and relationships. Not every day is easy, but challenges are opportunities for growth. While experience and knowledge are important, reliability, communication, and helping others succeed are what leave the greatest impact.
Any passions or hobbies outside of work?
Spending time at the beach is something I’m truly passionate about. I grew up near the beach in Mérida, Mexico (MID), so whenever I can, I visit my family even if it’s just for a couple of days. I especially enjoy going to my parents’ beach house in Telchac Puerto, where my parents and grandmother now live. Outside of that, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
