Envoy Establishes Maintenance Center of Excellence at LIT

We are pleased to announce that Envoy is expanding our aircraft maintenance facility at Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport (LIT) in Little Rock, Arkansas, establishing our first-ever Maintenance Center of Excellence.

This expansion adds new, specialized aircraft maintenance capabilities at LIT and is expected to create numerous high-skill maintenance roles over the next two years. As part of this growth, Envoy plans to invest more than $600,000 in the facility.

With the creation of the Maintenance Center of Excellence, our team in Little Rock will be able to perform advanced maintenance work such as sheet metal repair, carbon composite repairs, landing gear inspections and other specialized capabilities critical to supporting our growing fleet.

“We’re excited to expand our maintenance operation in Little Rock and build on the strong foundation our team has established at LIT,” said Jay Murray, Vice President of Maintenance at Envoy. “This Center of Excellence allows us to grow specialized capabilities while creating meaningful career opportunities and continuing to invest in the communities where our crews live and work.”

Envoy leaders were joined by state and local officials and community partners to mark today’s announcement.

“Arkansas’ aviation industry is continuing to take off, and Envoy’s investment is helping drive what comes next,” said Governor Sanders. “Envoy’s Center of Excellence brings advanced maintenance, specialized training and high-skill careers together under one roof—giving Arkansas a lasting edge and putting us at the forefront of where companies choose to grow. We’re excited to see that future taking shape in our capital city.”

Envoy has a long-standing presence in Arkansas and remains committed to supporting skilled aviation jobs across the state. In addition to our Little Rock maintenance base, Envoy operates an aircraft maintenance facility at Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) and provides ground handling and customer service for American Airlines at both XNA and LIT. Across North America and the Caribbean, Envoy supports American at more than 120 locations.

This expansion reflects Envoy’s continued investment in our people, our maintenance operation and the communities that support American’s regional network.
