Chicago helps our visually-impaired customers

IMG_ORD_Service_Animal_Trainig_October_2019 (2)Last month, the Envoy team in Chicago (ORD) paws’d for a moment to help train the next generation of service animals who support our visually-impaired customers. An Envoy flight crew volunteered their time and assisted the animals on their mock flight using a real-life Embraer 145 aircraft.

“The puppies in training went through every activity that they’d be expected to handle when it comes to air travel, including going through TSA checkpoints, boarding flights, obeying crewmember instructions, deplaning and more,” explains ORD Managing Director, Customer Services, Cesar Rodriguez. “This is the 12th year that we’ve partnered with the team to train service animals. We’re proud to help make a difference in every customer’s travel experience!”

Way to go, team ORD!
